Marni Willenson has a breadth of experience on complex civil litigation matters. She has served as lead counsel in large class action and other mass action litigation and has represented clients in complex fraud cases. She is a tenacious litigator with a record of real results.Before launching Willenson Law, she was the litigation coordinator of Farmworker Justice, the leading national organization advocating for the rights of domestic farmworkers and temporary agricultural guestworkers. She was partner at the same civil rights law firm with which President Barack Obama was affiliated, and before that, a civil rights and employment attorney at a not-for-profit civil rights organization in Chicago.Ms. Willenson graduated from Brown University (magna cum laude) with a degree in Latin American Studies and received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before numerous federal district and appellate courts. She has had numerous speaking engagements at professional conferences in the areas of wage and hour law, litigation strategy, and electronic discovery.
